Ruri no Hoseki: Introduction to Mineralogy (Ruri’s Jewels) will be animated by Studio Bind, with the first teaser trailer, cast and staff revealed at Aniplex Online Fest 2024.
The anime adaptation was announced a few days ago with a teaser visual, while the new announcement came at the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event.
Miyari Nemoto will voice the titular Ruri Tanigawa, with Asami Seto voicing Nagi Arato. The two are also featured on the show’s first teaser visual.
Shingo Fujii will direct the anime, while the main staff also includes Michiko Yokote in charge of the series composition, Mayu Fuji as the character designer, and Daisuke Achiwa working with Kazuki Yanagawa on the music.
Ruri no Hoseki is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Keiichiro Shibuya. It has been serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta since magazine since August 2019, with 5 volumes released as of September 13. The story follows Ruri, a young girl who likes jewelry and gemstones, as she enters the world of mineralogy and learns more about it.
Studio Bind is also working on the Flower and Asura adaptation, which is set to release in January 2025. Mushoku Tensei Season 3 was announced without a release date.
