The preview and main staff for Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance (Season 2) episode 8 were revealed on Tuesday. The new episode “Cho of The 10 Swords” will be released on Thursday, November 21. Studio LIDENFILMS is handling the animation production while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. Check out the preview below:

Episode 8 synopsis:
Seeking a replacement for his broken reverse-blade sword, Kenshin visits Arai Seiku the son of swordsmith Arai Shakku, but Seiku has already stopped making swords. Respecting Seiku’s preference for peace, Kenshin gives up the sword-making request. Meanwhile, at Shizuo’s base, Sadojima Hoji of the Ten Swords reports to Shakkuu about Kenshin’s movements. Knowing from their conversation that the last of the red-sky swords is not in Kenshin’s possession, Sawagejo Cho of the Ten Swords goes to the Seiku family.

Yuki Komada is the director for Rurouni Kenshin Season 2. He is joined by Yoshitaka Makino, who is working as the assistant director. Hideyuki Kurata and Kaoru Kurosaki have reprised their roles from last season as they’re handling the series composition and script.
