SiM revealed a full version of “Under the Tree” – the theme song for Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1. The full version of the song is available alongside a music video that features scenes from the anime, directed by Motohiro Ishii (from Ray):
The full version of “Under the Tree” came out with SiM’s new album, PLAYDEAD, earlier today. The album also features the orchestra version of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 theme song “The Rumbling” as well as Kengan Ashura Season 2‘s theme song “RED,” among others. It’s worth noting that while “The Rumbling” tells the story from Eren’s point-of-view, “Under the Tree” does the same for Mikasa. The CD jacket for the TV version of the song featured her:
Attack on Titan anime returns with its final installment on November 4. Studio MAPPA is animating once again. It’s not clear if “Under the Tree” will be used in it, but it’s worth noting that a new theme song hasn’t been announced. Crunchyroll will be streaming the finale. The platform describes the plot of the special episodes as:
