Singer Masayoshi Oishi Covers Spy x Family Opening Song "Mixed Nuts"

Singer Masayoshi Oishi from OxT covered Spy x Family anime’s opening theme song “Mixed Nuts,” originally performed by Official HIGE DANdism. The singer performed the song for the online show Oishi Masayoshi x Airi Suzuki no Anison Kamikyoku Cover Desho de Show!! which he and Airi Suzuki host. The show is available on Asashi Television’s YouTube Channel, Doga, Hajimete Mimashita. This is Oishi’s second song to cover Official HIGE DANdism after “Cry Baby,” Tokyo Revengers‘ opening theme song.

Spy x Family‘s non-credit opening video with Official HIGE DANdism’s “Mixed Nuts” has been viewed more than 12 million times since it was posted on April 16, 2022. The anime’s first split cour aired from April to June 2022, and the second cour is slated for October 2022.

The band also posted on April 15 a music video for the song on their YouTube channel which has attracted over 54 million views so far.

Tom-H@ck is a founding member of OxT, who with Masayoshi Oishi performed “Clattanoia” for the Overlord franchise and the opening theme song “HOLLOW HUNGER” in the Overlord Season 4 this season. In addition, he sang SSSS.GRIDMAN‘s opening theme song “UNION.” During his solo career, he sang “Kimi ja Nakya Dame Mitai” for Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun and was involved with Love After World Domination last season with “Koi wa Explosion” for which he wrote the lyrics and music.
