Slow Second Life Anime Gets Second Trailer Featuring the Opening Theme Song

The upcoming Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) no Slow na Second Life (Chillin’ in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army) anime posted the second trailer on Monday. Studio Encourage Films is animating the adaptation and the premiere date is set for January 7, 2023. The anime released the first trailer with a key visual in November 2022.

Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) no Slow na Second Life Second Trailer

Akari Kito is performing the ending theme song “Dear Doze Days” in the Kaiko Sareta anime. The newly-posted trailer features the anime’s opening theme song performed by Hinano, “CHANGEMAKER”.

The anime depicts a story of Dariel who suddenly loses his job in the Demon Lord’s army. He meets a woman called Marika and his new life starts in human society. The cast members are listed as follows (the spelling of the character names may vary depending on the translations):

Encourage Films is animating the Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) no Slow na Second Life anime based on Rokujuyon Okazawa’s light novel series with art by Sage Joh. The series is currently being published under Kodansha’s light novel label, Kodansha Ranobe Books. The light novel released the first volume in August 2019 and the latest, 3rd volume in March 2020. The manga adaptation by Rurekuchie is ongoing in the company’s Monthly Young Magazine and released the newest, 8th volume on November 18, 2022.
