The previously announced Spy Classroom anime adaptation revealed a teaser visual and a teaser trailer, along with a 2023 premiere date. Studio feel. is animating the series. Sora Amamiya and Yuichiro Umehara are voicing Lily and Klaus, while the newly announced cast includes:

- Miku Ito as Grete
- Sumire Uesaka as Thea
- Aoi Yuki as Monika
- Ayane Sakura as Sara
- Tomori Kusunoki as Annette

The light novel written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari started serialization in 2020 in Fujimi Fantasia Bunko and currently has 6 volumes. In Japan, it s known as Spy Room. A manga adaptation by Kaname Seu is currently ongoing in Media Factory’s Comic Alive magazine. A short story light novel series is also currently ongoing. The light novel won the 32nd Fantasia Bunko award.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
