Tatsuya Endo’s Spy x Family manga released Volume 10 on October 4, 2022, and with it officially surpassed 26.5 million circulating copies. The number of copies increased by 1.5 million from the 25 million circulating copies announced in August 2022. The cover shows the series’ protagonist Loid Forger as a child sitting on a pile of rubble with a gun on his lap.
Back in September when the cover visual was released, the author made a comment to fans on Twitter: “It seems volume 10’s cover has already come out. It doesn’t have a chair, but I think I’ve made it fitting for the volume myself.” He also mentioned the then-upcoming second cour of the anime in the tweet: “[The volume] will be released on October 4, right after the anime’s 2nd cour begins. I’d appreciate it if many people could check it together with the anime. I’d like you to pick it if you are interested.“
