STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 2nd STAGE New Preview Images Revealed

STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 2ND STAGE revealed new preview images ahead of its September 25 premiere on Netflix. The anime previously confirmed 11 episodes for stages 2 and 3, along with weekly streaming.

The new released images preview Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli as they take on a roughly 750-mile desert crossing during the Steel Ball Run race. The route includes an area feared as the “Devil’s Palm,” and the description mentions that a series of unsettling incidents begins to reveal that the race is more than a simple competition.

The new announcement was made during a special live stream looking back on the 1st STAGE.

Three new characters and their voice cast were previously introduced and set to appear in the next installment of the anime:

• Tomoaki Maeno as Mountain Tim
• Tomokazu Sugita as Funny Valentine
• Yoko Hikasa as Hot Pants

Steel Ball Run is the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki’s legendary JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga. Set in late 19th-century America, the story follows former prodigy jockey Johnny Joestar and mysterious outlaw Gyro Zeppeli as they compete in a transcontinental horse race for a massive cash prize. Beneath the surface, however, they face dangerous conspiracies that threaten to take over the competition. The first episode was a 47-minute special covering Stage 1 of the race, and it released on March 19, 2026.

The manga by Hirohiro Araki began in 1987, while the Steel Ball Run part ran from 2004 to 2011. The full staff for the latest anime installment includes:
