That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond (Tensura) anime released an “emotional” trailer featuring the bonds of Hiiro and Towa to celebrate the film’s performance, earning ¥1 billion (≒$7.5 million) with over 800 thousand moviegoers since its November 25 premiere date in Japan. The film posted a trailer for action scenes in early December as well. Studio 8bit animated it, and Crunchyroll announced international release dates. The movie is coming to the United Kingdom and Ireland on January 18, marking the earliest international premiere.
The newly-released trailer is titled”TenSura the Movie Emotional Trailer Bonds” and it also features the film’s insert songs “Joka” and “SPARKLES” which TRUE and STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION performed respectively. The video is also available on YouTube but is region-locked. Hiiro and Towa are movie-original characters.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was originally Fuse’s light novel series running on the Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel service. It is currently being published with art by Mitz Vah under MICRO MAGAZINE’s novel label GC NOVELS. The Scarlet Bond film is Tensura anime series’ latest anime adaptation animated by Studio 8bit under Yasuhito Kikuchi’s direction based on a new story the author wrote.
