The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World anime is coming in January 2025, and it revealed the first main trailer, a new visual, and some more cast members. Junichi Suwabe is voicing the main character Ken’ichi, while EAST FISH STUDIO is in charge of the animation. Asaka performs the opening song “GIVE & TAKE,” which is featured in the trailer below.

Four voice actresses have joined the cast. The full main voice cast for the The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World anime consists of:

The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World (Arafo Otoko no Isekai Tsuhan Seikatsu) is a light novel by Hifumi Asakura. It ran on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from 2017 to 2021, while SB Creative acquired it and began publishing it in print. There is also a manga adaptation by Umiharu, which ran in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine from April 2019 to May 2024. The anime will be adapting the manga.

Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global describes the story:
Ken’ichi, a single man who’s almost 40, is suddenly transferred to another world. As he navigates his way through the dangerous forests of that world, he realizes that he can use a huge online shopping site. Ken’ichi aims to use his cheat ability to live a slow life in another world!

Junichi Suwabe was voted by our fans as the Best Male Seiyuu for 2023.
