Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Season 2 has revealed the first trailer ahead of the anime show’s January 12 premiere in Japan. The anime will be streaming on Netflix worldwide, with the release date for the platform coming soon.
The new trailer shows Robin Mask, Ramenman, Warsman and Brocken Jr. joining the battle aganist the second group of Perfect Chojin following their appearance at the end of the first season. It also previews the opening theme song “KINNIKUMAN HERO” by Masaaki Endoh.
Kinnikuman’s voice actor, Mamoru Miyano, will perform the ending theme song “29.” He previously performed the special opening theme song “Kinnikuman Go Fight!!” for Episode 0 of the first season, as well as its main ending theme song “Chojin.” You can see voice cast below.

Kinnikuman is a Japanese manga series created by Yoshinori Nakai and Takashi Shimada, also known as Yudetamago. It was originally published by Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1979 to 1987 before restarting publication in 2011 in Shuiesha’s Shu Play.
There is also a sequel, the Kinnikuman: The 2nd Generation (known as Ultimate Muscle outside Japan) manga that was serialized in Weekly Playboy between 1998 and 2004. It was also adapted into three different television series, all of which were broadcast on TV Tokyo in Japan and released in North America by 4Kids Entertainment. The original Kinnikuman anime series was produced by Toei Animation and aired from 1983 to 1986 for a total of 137 episodes.
