The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague series celebrated Komori’s birthday on November 11 with an illustration drawn by the manga author, Miyuki Tonogaya. The anime adaptation of the manga will premiere on January 4, 2023.
Komori is a descendant of mystical foxes and she works with the Ice guy Himuro and his cool female colleague Fuyutsuki. The newly-released visual shows her wearing a silver tiara on the head and casual blue clothes with a gentle smile. Her friends from the company are celebrating her birthday in the picture.
The manga’s author quote-tweeted the post to celebrate her birthday likewise: “Komori-san, Happy birthday~🦊🎂🎉”
Yumi Uchiyama, who is known for her roles as Rudeus Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and Pack in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World, is voicing Komori in The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague anime adaptation.

Studios ZERO-G and Liber’s collaborative anime is being produced based on Miyuki Tonogaya’s The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague manga serialized on Square Enix’s Gangan pixiv manga website. The series released the first compiled volume on July 22, 2019, and the newest, Volume 6 on June 22, 2022. The anime’s premiere date is set for January 4, 2023.
Comikey licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot as follows:
Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But anytime he’s around his eccentric yet kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he totally freezes up! Despite the snowstorm of love that rages on in his heart, and her complete cluelessness, will he take a step forward or stay frozen in place?
