The anime adaptation of The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious has released a new trailer, along with a July 23 premiere date. Studios SILVER LINK. and BLADE are co-producing the anime, with Mirai Minato as director and scriptwriter. Saori Hayami voices the male protagonist Yuri, while Rie Takahashi voices the mysterious maid Lilith. The new trailer features the opening song “Su-Suki Janai!” (I Don’t Like It!) by idol group ≠ME, and you can watch it below:

The anime will be based on The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious by Wakame Konbu, which began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine in January 2020. Yen Press is publishing it in English, and they describe the plot as:
There’s something really strange about the maid I just hired! No normal person could be so beautiful, or cook such amazingly delicious food, or know exactly what I want before I even ask. She must be using magic—right, a spell is the only thing that can explain why my chest feels so tight whenever I look at her. I swear, I’m going to get to the bottom of what makes this maid so…mysterious!
