The synopsis for the episode is described:
The day before the match between the Blue Lock Eleven and Japan’s U-20 national team, Sae Itoshi is stopped by Aiku Oliver, who informs him that Akito Sendo and Shido have clashed again. Sae suggests that if the two can’t get along, they should simply cut Sendo, who is the weaker player. However, Aiku warns that if Sendo is removed, most of the teammates will boycott the match… Twenty-four hours later, as the match draws near, the starting lineups and bench members for both Blue Lock and the U-20 Japan team are revealed. Now, the most intense soccer battle in history is about to begin.
