The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Reveals Third Key Visual Ahead of the Finale

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic revealed a new key visual following the broadcast of episode 9 as the anime heads into the finale. Studio Add and Shin-Ei Animation are animating the adaptation under Takahide Ogata’s direction. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.

The main cast includes Shogo Sakata as Usato, Ayaka Nanase as Suzune, Kengo Takahashi as Kazuki, Atsuko Tanaka as Rose, Saya Aizawa as Amako, and Akeno Watanabe as Blurin. More members were announced along with the first visual, while the new cast members include Reina Ueda as Princess Celia, Shohei Komatsu as Aruku, Hitomi Ueda as Amila, and Wataru Hatano as Hyriluk.

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic was originally published as a web novel by Kurokata. It was first serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2014 and then published as a light novel series with illustrations by KeG in Kadokawa’s MF Books from 2016 to 2020, with a total of 12 volumes being released. A manga adaptation by Reki Kugayama, which began in April 2017 and is currently ongoing.

The official synopsis:
Usato Mikuri, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home when he is suddenly engulfed by a magic circle along with the student council president, Suzune Inukami, and his classmate, Kazuki Ryuusen.

When they come to, they find themselves in a different world. The three of them were supposedly summoned as “Heroes” to counter the Demon Lord’s army invading the kingdom, but only Suzune and Kazuki have the aptitude for being heroes. Usato was just caught up in the situation!

However, the situation changes drastically when it becomes clear that Usato has an affinity for “healing magic.” Rose, who claims to be the leader of the Rescue Squad, appears and forcibly takes Usato away.

What awaited Usato there was days of training beyond his imagination in the form of a hellish ordeal—!
