Once again, we took a look at the anime openings and endings on Spotify to determine which one was streamed the most – in the Fall 2022 anime season. The season definitely didn’t lack in the music sense and we got to enjoy many amazing tracks. Note that not all Fall 2022 anime openings and ending songs have been officially released on Spotify, and all streams are counted as of January 29, 2023, and rounded to the nearest thousand. Tracks from shorts, long-running anime titles, and films are excluded.
As you can see from this chart, the Chainsaw Man opening “KICK BACK” by Kenshi Yonezu took the top by an almost 100-thousand-stream lead, at 135,336,000 plays. Three out of the 12 ending songs from the show also made it into the top 10. In second is the Mobile Witch Gundam: The Witch from Mercury opening “Shukufuku” by YOASOBI at 33,285,000 streams, and the same anime’s ending “Kimi yo Kedakaku Are” by Shiyui is right behind with 33,000,000 streams.
