Arika will perform the ending theme song “inclusion,” while TRUE performs the opening song “Unsung ballad.” The latter was previewed in the main trailer for the sequel.

Kuji Furumiya writes the Unnamed Memory series. It began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in September 2012, while it was later acquired by ASCII Media Works. They published the series in print over 6 volumes from January to April 2021, featuring illustrations by Chibi.

There is also a manga adaptation by Naoki Koshimizu, which began in September 2020 and is currently ongoing. The first season of the anime adaptation premiered on April 9. It ran for 12 episodes and concluded on June 25, after which the sequel was immediately announced. The first teaser visual and trailer were revealed in October.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime.

The story follows Prince Oscar as he sets out to find a legendary powerful witch, Tinasha, and asks her to marry him. She agrees to live in the prince’s castle for a year while researching the spell cast on him, but that year is filled with mystery and secrets coming to light.
