Upcoming Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! Season 2 released on September 5 the second key visual, which features Hana Uzaki and Shinichi Sakurai in front of a Christmas tree, along with additional cast information, Tomokazu Sugita and Miki Ito, and new character visuals. The anime is scheduled to broadcast on October 1.
The visual came with a phrase about their relationships: “Being watched over, being teased, and being cheered up. It feels like there is going to be a change in the the Sempai-and-Kohei’s ordinary life…? Their eyes happen to meet in front of the Christmas tree… Something different is going to happen.“
The newly revealed cast members, Tomokazu Sugita and Miki Ito are voicing Shinichi Sakurai’s parents, father Shiro Sakurai and mother Haruko Sakurai respectively.

Take has been writing and drawing Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! manga on Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017. The manga inspired the first anime adaptation aired from July to September 2020 produced by studio ENGI, which continues to be involved in the second season under Kazuya Miura’s direction.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot as:
Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship!
