Tatsuhisa Suzuki Officially Leaves I’M Enterprise

Suzuki expressed his gratitude to I’M Enterprise and apologized for the inconvenience he caused the year before last. Following the cheating controversy he was involved in, he was replaced in anime series and franchises he was involved in both as an actor and voice actor.

Tatsuhisa Suzuki is a Japanese voice actor whose first credited role dates back to 2003 when he provided the voice for Tsutomo Ishi in Dear Boys. Suzuki’s notable roles include Ban from Seven Deadly Sins, Makoto Tachibana in the Free! franchise, and Haru Yoshida in My Little Monster. He was replaced by Masaya Fukunishi in his role as Ken ‟Draken” Ryuguji in Tokyo Revengers and Yuichiro Umehara as Anos Voldigoad in The Misfit of Demon King Academy.

Suzuki was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair in July 2021. He is still married to his wife LiSA and they recently welcomed a child. After the media in Japan started reporting on the affair, he took a hiatus from entertainment industry activities, citing poor health at that time. Suzuki resumed his activities in March this year, as he appeared in public for the first time in two years. Suzuki was also a lead vocalist for the OLDCODEX band, which disbanded last year.
