WANDANCE is getting an anime adaptation by studios MADHOUSE and CYCLONE GRAPHICS, with the release date set for 2025. The street dancing anime will have Rie Hata, also known as the “Queen of Swag” as a dance producer. The author of the manga drew an illustration to commemorate the announcement.
WANDANCE is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Coffee. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon seinen magazine since January 2019, with 12 volumes released as of this April. Volume 22 is set to release on August 22.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
