Whisper Me a Love Song anime announced that it will premiere on April 13 along with a new key visual on Friday. The visual features the main characters Yori Asanagi and Himari Kino. Additionally, the opening and ending themes were revealed and Kana Sasakura, the voice of Yori, will be performing the opening while Hana Shimano, Himari’s voice actress, is singing the ending theme. It was also previously announced that an advance screening of the first episode will be held at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba on March 30, 2024.
Whisper Me a Love Song was supposed to premiere in January 2024 but was delayed to April. Xin Ya Cai who was originally directing the series has been replaced by Akira Mano (Ghost Hunt) due to health reasons. Studio Cloud Hearts is animating the series with Hiroki Uchida writing the scripts and Minami Yoshida designing the characters. The cast includes:

- Mikako Komatsu as Aki Mizuguchi
- Konomi Kohara as Mari Tsuitsui
- Ai Kakuma as Kaori Tachibana
- Yuna Nemoto as Shiho Izumi
- Reina Ueda as Momoka Satomiya
- Chika Anzai as Hajime Amasawa
- Aoi Koga as Miki Mizuguchi
The TV anime adaptation is based on the manga written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima which was initially serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime in 2019. Kodansha Comics is licensing the manga in English they described the first volume as follows:
Bubbly, energetic first-year high school student Himari falls head over heels for her senpai Yori after hearing her band perform on the first day of school. Himari tells Yori she just loves her, and, to Himari’s surprise, Yori says she loves Himari back! But when Himari realizes that she and her senpai are feeling two different kinds of love, she begins to ask herself what “love” really means
