On October 13, Yen Press announced that it will release the first new novel in the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series in 9.5 years. It’s going to be titled The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya and it will be printed in June 2021. It will be, once again, written by Nagaru Tanigawa and illustrated by Noizi Ito.
The company also stated that it will start rereleasing the light novels of the Haruhi Suzumiya series in its Yen On imprint in January 2021. Moreover, Yen Press said it would begin with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya. After that, from February to May, they will publish two light novel volumes every month. The Ten On editions will be paperback books that feature Noizi Ito’s original Japanese cover art.
Yen Press will publish The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya novel digitally in English on November 25. The novel will ship in Japan on the same day. The novel collects three stories, including one all-new story. The full novel will have more than 250 pages.
