At the recent Gundam Expo Tokyo 2020. Sunrise producer Naohiro Ogata revealed that, Yoshiyuki Tomino the creator and director of the original Mobile Suit Gundam. Is working on three new projects after he finishes the Gundam Reconguista in G compilation films. Yoshiyuki Tomino will have more to say on the projects after “Some preparations”.
Additionally, the Gundam Reconguista in G films will be a five-film installment, and with the announcement of Gundam Reconguista G 2, that is set for February 21, 2021. Also the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway has announced a new schedule for 2021. Sunrise and the Gundam Franchise, sure is making a lot of money for the next upcoming years!
Gundam Factory in Yokohama will also be opening their life-size “Moving Gundam” for the public. On December 19, 2020, at the Yamashita Pier in Yokohama. The Gundam attraction will run until March 31, 2021. In Addition, Sunrise is also working on a few huge titles in the anime industry. Including the Fall 2020 anime of the Love Live Franchise, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. They also announced that Sunrise will work on Code Geass for 10 years more.
