A new main visual has been released for the upcoming You and Idol Precure movie, along with revealing its official title You and Idol Pretty Cure the Movie: Thanks for Waiting! Delivering the Sparkly Live to You! The film is based on the 22nd season of the long-running magical girl anime franchise, You and Idol Pretty Cure (stylized as Kimi to Idol Precure♪).
The new visual shows a tropical island stage where the “#1 Idol Festival in the Universe” will take place. It also confirms that characters from two previous Pretty Cure seasons (Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure and Wonderful Precure!) will appear in the film. They’ll be joined by five new characters: Cure Idol, Cure Wink, Cure Kyun-Kyun, Cure Zukyun, and Cure Kiss. A mysterious red-haired girl and a goddess statue are also shown.
Young attendees (middle school age and under) in Japan will receive a “Miracle Ai-Ai Brace” as a theater gift, available in two types and randomly distributed, with a limited run of 500,000 units. The movie will open in Japanese theaters on September 12, 2025, and you can watch the teaser trailer below.
