You Are Ms. Servant (Kimi wa Meido-sama) anime revealed a new trailer, along with an October 5 release date. Studio FelixFilm is animating the series, with Ayumu Watanabe as the director. The new trailer highlights the characters, particularly the titular maid, Yuki/Xue (CV: Reina Ueda).
Additional voice cast was revealed earlier this month, and the currently known members include:
- Reina Ueda as Yuki/Xue
- Toshigi Kumagai as Hitoyoshi Yokoya
- Hikaru Iida as Riko Yokoya
- Lynn as Grace
- Konomi Inagaki as Naka Hikage
- Eriko Matsui as Agemochitaro
Besides Ayumu Watanabe as the director, the anime staff includes Deko Akao in charge of the series composition, Tomoyasu Kurashima as the character designer and Masahiro Tokuda as the music composer. The anime revealed its first trailer in March.
The You Are Ms. Servant anime adaptation is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Shotan. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry manga website since June 2020. Shogakugan Asia licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
This is the story of a maid who is all alone in the world, but who finally finds a family.
Told from a young age that her only worth is as a killer, Yuki had known nothing else except cold efficiency and following orders. Now that she has a chance to leave her past behind, she arrives at the doorstep of Hitoyoshi Yokoya, asking to be employed… as a maid?! Thus begins the journey of a former assassin learning what it means to be ‘normal’!
