New Yu-Gi-Oh! Merch Also Includes Limited-Edition Skate Decks From Bear Walker

Jennifer Coleman, vice president of licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media NY, which licenses the series, said on the new partnerships:
Working with King Ice and YoungLA provides the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand with new product categories that appeal to the Gen Z demographic, who are actively engaging with the IP. For over a decade, King Ice has been the leading industry tastemaker in creating premium wearable art that bridges the gap between artist, culture, and people while YoungLA is producing premium quality apparel at an affordable price and we believe our fans will welcome a chance to own these product lines.

They follow Bear Walker’s new Yu-Gi-Oh! limited-edition skate decks announced last week. First previewed at SDCC, the skate decks are set to be released in late Summer 2024. Designs take inspiration from Exodia, Obelisk the Tormentor, the Millennium Items, and the Egyptian God Card: Slifer the Sky Dragon. Bear Walker will also be releasing blind boxes of cards where fans can even earn Secret Rares.

Yu-Gi-Oh! began as a manga series written and illustrated by Kazuki Takahashi in Weekly Shonen Jump. The series was serialized from 1996 to 2004 and inspired numerous anime series, manga, and games, including the world-famous trading card game, with over 25 billion cards in circulation.
