Yuma Uchida to Release New Album After Two Years This November

Yuma Uchida, who is active as a voice actor and singer, is releasing his third album Y on November 29, 2023. To commemorate his fifth year in the music industry, he prepared a limited-edition surprise for his fans. A photobook titled &JOY will be included in the 5th Anniversary Box edition of the third album, and its visual details were unveiled today.

Other than that, the music video for the title track of Uchida’s 3rd album and the 4th single of his digital single series, “Joyful,” is scheduled to premiere on YouTube on September 22 at 8 PM JST. The newest addition to his digital single series which commenced earlier this year on May 31, 5th single “Monotanai” is expected to be out on September 29. It was also implied in the same post that the digital single series will go on for half a year, which leaves the fans looking forward to November for the sixth and last part of the series of singles release. A pre-order link for the third album which will contain the tracks in the digital series release is also provided for those who are interested in making their reservations, which also comes with a bonus image release.

The CD is expected to include 13 songs including some of his pre-released singles such as “1 LOVE 1” and “Joyful,” while the Blu-ray will contain the music videos, making, and other recording plans of the anticipated tracks in the CD.

Yuma Uchida made his debut as a singer in May 2018 with the debut single “NEW WORLD.” Aside from being a singer, Yuma Uchida is also active as a voice actor affiliated with Intention. He is best known for voicing Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen, Kyo Sohma in Fruits Basket (2019), Ash Lynx from Banana Fish, Kawaki in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and Kaveh from Genshin Impact. His older sister is Maaya Uchida.
