Last Dungeon Episode 6 Lets Lloyd Really Show Off

Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town? aka Last Dungeon Episode 6 premiered on February 8, 2021. One of the better episodes of the season so far, Lloyds obscene power really gets put on display. On top of that best girl, Phyllo gets some much-needed screen time, and perhaps a key villain emerges. I have been a huge fan of the comedy of this show, and the animation remains very good. There are some slight spoilers ahead so consider this your warning!

So once the legendary holy sword was revealed as the prize for the winner, Rol tosses her original plan wayside. Immediately inserting herself into the match (despite being the headmaster) and we cant have that. So our team decides to let Lloyd compete then, and let him put in some work. A best of 3 event, Selen goes first and loses to Phyllo by DQ. Next up is Lloyd vs. Mena, and despite her best efforts to drown him Lloyd stands strong. His “tongue-tied” technique causes Mena to self destruct tying us at 1 to 1. Finally it comes down to Rol and Riho, and Ro takes the early advantage. However using some sly healing magic technicalities, and lies, Riho takes the win.

Rol, upset with her loss and dead set on getting the Holy Sword, decides to take it by force. Discovering Marie was holding it, she orders Phyllo to kidnap the “boy she’s overprotective of”. However, Sweet Phyllo isn’t the brightest and brings back a crystal ball instead (don’t ask). Luckily thanks to coincidence Lloyd comes with the sword anyways thinking Marie had been kidnapped instead. Phyllo meets him head-on, and scared of fighting and using his full power, he ask her to arm wrestle instead. They have a battle for the ages, breaking several arm wrestling rules along the way I’m pretty sure. After a lengthy battle, Lloyd emerges as the victor. Lloyd finds out Miss Marie is still at home, Phyllo proposes to him, and we fished Rol before she drowns. All in all a happy ending!

This episode continues the laughs, and I think it’s really one of the better comedies of the season. All of our characters have unique personalities in the world, and the overall story is really starting to come together. I’ve been a big fan of this show this season so I’m really looking forward to what comes next
