Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- has released the preview for Episode 4 (Episode 16 overall). Sung Jinwoo defeated Vulcan in the last episode, and he’s now one ingredient away from healing his mother, but it seems the time of him being free of attention is over. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating, with 13 episodes confirmed for the season. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The title of the next episode is “I Need to Stop Faking” and it will premiere on Saturday, January 25. You can see the preview images below.

Feeling that he needs to further raise his level to clear the S-rank dungeon “Demon Castle,” Jinwoo decides to undergo a reassessment of his Hunter Rank to participate in advanced raids. While top guild members begin to take notice of Jinwoo , whose magical power is beyond what measurement devices can quantify, another individual also visits him.

The anime is based on the Solo Leveling webtoon by Chugong and DUBU from REDICE Studio, which was adapted by h-goon. The story follows the world’s ‘weakest hunter’ Sung Jinwoo, as he gets a way to level up in a world where it is otherwise impossible. He has now acquired a new shadow, Iron, and he is ready to take on the Demon’s Castle after the fight against the Ice Elves.
Solo Leveling was previously also voted the most anticipated anime of Winter 2024, and it also won Best New Anime at our Winter 2024 Anime Awards.The second season was then voted as the most anticipated show of Winter 2025 this season. It ranked third in the first weekly ranking, dropping to fifth in the second one.
