The ending theme song for the Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc will be performed by RYUGUJO, with lyrics and composition by QUEEN BEE’s Avu-chan. The popular artist is also the producer of RYUGUJO, which was formed in 2023 through an audition.
Previously, Cö shu Nie and HYDE were announced as the artists of the anime’s opening theme song, which is titled “MAISIE.”
The ending song, titled “WALTZ,” will be their first anime tie-in, and you can read their official statement below.
For RYUGUJO, this is our first anime tie-in, and we are truly honored from the bottom of our hearts to be able to contribute to such an incredible work as Black Butler.
Thank you so much! Every member of our group read the original manga, watched the anime, and shared our thoughts before heading into the recording session.
Ciel’s words—”Regret is not something one should indulge in… No one should.”—left a deep impression on us as performers who stand on stage.
The ending theme, “WALTZ”, has become an incredibly significant song for RYUGUJO. It is a piece that will remain essential in our future endeavors.
We sincerely hope that, together with the anime, you will immerse yourself in this song and enjoy it to the fullest!
