"Ado SPECIAL LIVE Shinzou in Cinema" Gets Global Theatrical Release

GAGA Corporation has officially announced the highly anticipated global theatrical release of “Ado SPECIAL LIVE Shinzou in Cinema,” scheduled to debut in Japanese theaters on May 9, 2025, with international screenings set to follow in select cinemas worldwide.

“Ado SPECIAL LIVE ‘Shinzou’ in Cinema” has been remastered by recording engineer Kenichi Koga, ensuring an “extraordinary audiovisual experience” through Dolby Atmos and 5.1 channel surround sound. The announcement was accompanied by the release of an official trailer. The trailer is narrated by Ado herself and shows glimpses of the performances from the original 2024 “Shinzou” show. Created by Ado’s image director, ORIHARA, a poster visual was also released. It merges key visuals from Ado’s 2024 concert with real photos from the event. You can check that out below.

The film includes an extensive setlist of 26 songs, featuring performances such as “DIGNITY,” with guest guitarist Tak Matsumoto of B’z, and “Show,” a collaborative piece with Universal Studios Japan. One of the highlights featured in the film is Ado’s first-ever live duet with virtual superstar Hatsune Miku, performing “Sakura Biyori and Time Machine.”

Ado is currently getting ready for her second world tour, “Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 ‘Hibana’ Powered by Crunchyroll,:” which will begin in April 2025 and have her touring over 30 cities through Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and Latin America.
