Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga has officially ended with the conclusion of Part 2’s final chapter, released today. The ending was teased in the previous chapter, coming as a surprise to many of its readers. No Part 3 or any sort of continuation was teased, and the app invites readers to look forward to Fujimoto’s next work.
Following the announcement earlier this month, Fujimoto made a post on X to recommend Hoppers, the recent animated movie by Pixar Animation Studios. The final volume of the manga will release on June 4, 2026.
Tatsuki Fujimoto first started the Chainsaw Man manga in 2018, and Part 1 ended in 2020 with a total of 97 chapters and 11 volumes. Part 2 began in July 2022, running for 135 chapters. Viz Media licensed the manga in English.
The first anime season premiered last fall, and it ran for a total of 12 episodes. MAPPA CEO Manabu Otsuka said that the Chainsaw Man anime was a complete financial success. Kenshi Yonezu performed the opening theme song “KICK BACK,” while each episode had a different ending theme song performed by a different artist.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc premiered in 2025, winning the title of the Anime Movie of the Year at our yearly awards. Chainsaw Man International Assassins Arc anime is currently in production.

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart.
