Straw Hats Farewell to Vivi Reanimated in the 4th WE ARE ONE Episode

The 4th episode of the “WE ARE ONE” video collection is now out! It once again had both a live-action and animated segment. The story this time follows two friend dancers, Nagi and Mai, who have had a friendly rivalry since their childhood days. However, Mai suddenly gets an offer to study abroad, which brings on the animated part of the emotional farewell between Vivi and the Straw Hats. You can watch the full episode on the official One Piece YouTube channel:

One Piece WE ARE ONE 4th episode – Feat. Vivi farewell to the Straw Hats

Mika Ninagawa directed this video, just like with the past 3. The live-action part cast Kyoka and Reina Minai. Meanwhile Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy) and Misa Watanabe (Vivi) reprised their roles as the characters’ voices. The theme song “TWILIGHT” by RADWIMPS was present, just like in the Zoro and Sanji in Davy Back Fight, the powerful women characters and Law, Corazon and Doflamingo backstory episodes. It’s amazing how well it fit each episode so far!

This is the 4th video of the “WE ARE ONE” collection. It’s a project to commemorate One Piece’s 100th manga volume and 1000th anime episode. It will be a collection of 5 videos, and we’ll get to see the final one tomorrow. The 2nd one revealed Yamato’s voice actress to be Hayami Saori! The farewell between Vivi and the Straw Hats was also recently highlighted in the one-shot chapter by Nisekoi author Naoshi Komi!

Since then, the 5th video was released, showing the Straw Hat joining moments in the animated segment. In addition, the full version music video for TWILIGHT by RADWIMPS is now also out!
