One Piece Manga Reveals Volume 101 Cover, Merged Illustration With Volumes 99 & 100

The official Twitter account for ONE PIECE has revealed the cover for volume 101 of the manga series, and it combines with previous volumes 99 & 100 for an awesome merged illustration. The latest volume features Kaido as the main figure, with Nami, Brook and Franky (and Zoro’s right hand) in front of him. It will release on December 3, 2021 in Japan. The ONE PIECE volume 100 released on September 3, 2021, and it quickly sold over a million copies. In addition, the franchise celebrated the milestone with a really cool video collection WE ARE ONE (among other projects). It featured 5 videos that combined live-action & animation, where the the live-action was an interesting story, while the animated parts were some of the coolest scenes from the anime reanimated in modern animation. Since then, we’ve also gotten to episode 1000 of the anime, which brought on some more celebration for ONE PIECE. First, we got a 1000 second video that features 1 second from every single episode from 1 to 1000. Then the actual episode started with a reanimated video of the show’s legendary opening “We Are!”. Finally, they announced ONE PIECE FILM RED, which will focus on Shanks & a new female character!

The merged illustration of volume covers of 99, 100 & 101 is awesome, and let’s look forward to how Oda-sensei concludes the intense Wano Country arc!
