The Case Study of Vanitas episode 13 previews are finally out! The anticipated second cour of the steampunk-vampire-themed anime will premiere on Friday, January 14, at 24:00 JST. The English subtitled versions will also be available later on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Bilibili in select regions.
Together with five preview images, the website also provides a description preview of The Case Study of Vanitas episode 13. It teases how Vanitas and Noé, as well as Dante and Johann, travel outside the city to investigate the Beast of Gévaudan. However, Noé gets separated as they enter deeper into a transforming snowy forest.

The website also credits the staff contributing to The Case Study of Vanitas episode 13. Deko Akao is listed for the script, Tomoyuki Itamura and Kotaro Tamura for the storyboard, and Nao Miyoshi for the episode director. Lastly, the animation directors are Koichi Horikawa, Mino Matsumoto, Kazuaki, and Naoyuki Konno.
Additionally, there is a special episode (also considered as episode 12.5) which recaps and summarizes all the events of the first cour of the anime.
