Netflix has been ramping up its exclusive streaming and licensing deals in the past few months. Some of their collaborations were with animation studios, such as CLAMP and WIT Studio, as well as MAPPA, NAZ, Science SARU, and Studio Mir. In April this year, Netflix signed a deal with Studio Colorido to co-produce three anime films, including an upcoming film from Tomotaka Shibayama, the director of A Whisker Away.
