Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero will premiere in 2023, and the anime has received a new teaser visual and trailer. Studios SILVER LINK and BLADE are collaborating on the production, with Keisuke Inoue as the director. Check out the teaser visual:

Three new cast members were announced, and they include Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Fred, Hiro Shimono as Leo and Ami Koshimizu as Ami. The anime previously announced Naomi Oozora as the voice of the Demon Lord and Yuichi Nakamura as Hero Max. The main staff was also announced, and it consists of Keisuke Inoue as the director, Toshiya Ono in charge of the series composition and Yoshihiro Watanabe as the character designer.
The fantasy manga by toufu began serialization on Houbunsha Comic Fuz website/app in 2019. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:
The Demon Lord has been defeated by a brave warrior, but is destined to arise again! Ten years later, he emerges early from his slumber to exact his revenge. However, he returns to find that neither the world nor the legendary hero are what they once were. Can the powers of darkness triumph over…a shut-in slob?
