The official Twitter account for 86 -Eighty Six- TV anime has released a new character PV featuring Anju Emma ahead of the shows’ 2nd cour. It’s the 2nd video in the series, and each of the main characters will get one. You can watch the video for the Snow Witch on their official YouTube Channel. It’s region locked to Japan, though you can watch it from anywhere on their Twitter below:
The previous PV was for Kurena, and you can watch that on their Twitter as well. There are 4 more, and we can guess that Shin and Lena will come last after Theoto and Raiden. The 3rd one will release tomorrow on September 23.
86 -Eighty Six- Anime
The original adaptation of Asato Asato’s light novel aired its 1st cour from April to June this year. It ran for 11 episodes, and ranked 3rd on our Anime of the Season for Spring 2021. Lena learned more about the deep inequality around her and changed a lot. The 1st cour ended with a big cliff-hanger, and we’ll be looking into what exactly happened in a few weeks.
You can watch the latest trailer for 86 -Eighty Six- 2nd Cour, which somewhat spoils us on the status of the characters:
The synopsis for the story goes:
The Republic of San Magnolia has long been under attack from the neighboring Giadian Empire’s army of unmanned drones known as the Legion. After years of painstaking research, the Republic finally developed autonomous drones of their own. Turning the one-sided struggle into a war without casualties-or at least, that’s what the government claims. In truth, there is no such thing as a bloodless war. Beyond the fortified walls protecting the eighty-five Republic territories lies the “nonexistent” Eighty-Sixth Sector. The young men and women of this forsaken land are branded the Eighty-Six and, stripped of their humanity, pilot the “unmanned” weapons into battle…
The anime will release on October 3 in Japan, and Crunchyroll is yet to confirm the simulcast. After Anju, we can expect Theotto or Raiden next for the 86 -Eighty Six- character PVs.
