The upcoming Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World anime released the second trailer and main visual along with information for the broadcast date and the ending theme song. Studio GEEKTOYS is animating the adaptation, which will begin to air on January 10, 2023. The first episode will be exclusively available on ABEMA early on January 3. The anime adaptation was announced in August 2021.
Mao Abe is performing the ending theme song “Never Fear”. The new trailer features the opening theme song “Glorious World” by Shunichi Toki.
Jacket cover illustrations were also unveiled for the opening theme song, which is scheduled to be released on January 25, 2023. Four editions will be available, and they are: regular edition, first limited edition, anime edition, and Canime limited edition (limited to Pony Canyon’s official shopping website for anime).
Shinta Fuji has been writing the light novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro since January 2019. KADOKAWA’s label MF Books picked up the series and has been publishing it with art by Susumu Kuroi. The latest, third volume was released in August 2021. A manga adaptation by Masaki Kawakami is currently ongoing on ComicWalker manga service and released the fifth volume in April 2022. Yen Press licensed both for English releases and describes the plot of light novel volume 1 as:
Nick used to be a member of a veteran adventurer party, helping his undisciplined friends with the accounts whenever he could. But what was his reward? Getting accused of embezzlement and kicked out by the leader he respected. Before long, he finds a few other jaded adventurers and kindred spirits, and together, they form their own unstoppable party!
