The school-idol group Aqours, which is best known from the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime has announced their final full-unit live show during their 9th Anniversary Project. Any fan who wins via the lottery ticket drawing has the ability to purchase a show ticket to attend the final live.

Aquors Final Love Live Announcement

While information is still limited on the future of Aqours, it appears the school idol unit will not disband entirely, but that only the full-member live shows will be ceasing. No word has been given on the cessation of performances by Aqours’ sub-units (CyaRon! AZALEA, Guilty Kiss, and YYY).

Aqours’ first single “”Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai?”

First announced as a nameless upcoming idol group in Dengeki G’s Magazine, the project allowed fans to submit options for the unit’s name and ultimately choose the winning one. Their first single, “Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai?,” was released on October 7, 2015. It was followed by the group’s first live performance on January 11, 2016. The VAs of the animated characters regularly perform live as both the main unit and the sub-units.
