Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke (Season 4) has released the main trailer for Cour 2, featuring the ending song “Wanna me” by adieu (Moka Kamishiraishi). It was also announced that Kana Nishino will perform the opening song “Power of Love.” The second cour will premiere on July 11.
adieu shared the following message on performing the ending theme:
“My name is adieu, and I have the honor of performing the ending theme for Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke.
I am truly happy to be able to contribute musically to a series that has been loved for so many years.
Through this song, I wanted to express, in my own way, the beauty of believing that is portrayed throughout Ascendance of a Bookworm.
This work taught me that believing in the things you love is also believing in yourself.
As a fan myself, I’m looking forward to the broadcast.”

Ascendance of a Bookworm is a light novel series written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by You Shiina. It was first serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from September 2013 to March 2017 before being published in print by TO Books starting in January 2015.
The anime adaptation first aired in 2019, followed by additional seasons in 2020 and 2022. The new installment adapts the Adopted Daughter of an Archduke arc.
