It is time to look at the female characters who won our hearts in the Fall 2023 anime season in yet another Best Girl of the Season poll! This time around, over 32,000 people voted and cast votes for 69 nominees. This anime season was filled with some incredible, well-written, and brave female characters, so it is no surprise that the results look like this.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End characters truly amazed us and so Fern earned the title of the Best Girl of Fall 2023, joining Stark on the throne after he previously took the title of the Fall 2023 Best Boy. Following behind is the titular Frieren and then Girlfriend, Girlfriend’s Shino Kiryuu. Maomao’s skill and charm helped her secure fourth place while JJK’s Nobara came in fifth.
