Summer 2023 is over and as you probably noticed, Anime Corner has decided to keep going with the Best Opening and Ending Theme Song of the Season poll. This season delivered some true hits and these are the ones you picked as your favorites!

Best Summer 2023 Anime Opening
Jujutsu Kaisen’s “Ao no Sumika” by Tatsuya Kitani managed to snag the victory in front of “Tetsu no Ori” by Granrodeo (Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 theme song). King Gnu’s “SPECIALZ” from the second arc of the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is in third place, followed by Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 opening, “’spiral’ by LONGMAN. The infections “’Song of the Dead’ by KANA-BOON gathered just enough votes for the fifth place. 10,538 fans voted in the Best Opening Song poll.

Best Summer 2023 Anime Ending
Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 managed to impress in more ways than one, and so “Kiseki” by Luck Life also won the title of the Best Summer 2023 Ending Song with a resounding 12.16% of the votes. The first ending of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, “Akari” by Soushi Sakiyama, ranked second narrowly beating the second ending of this anime, titled “more than words” and performed by Hitsujibungaku. “Musubime’ by Yuiko Ohara (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2) was the fourth while “Endroll” by Yoh Kamiyama, from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2, secured fifth place. 8,981 fans voted in this poll.
