Columbia Pictures Philippines revealed that the Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc movie will be premiering in the Philippines on September 24, 2025.
The announcement was made through an exhibitor spotlight post by SuperManila Comic Con, an event that will showcase a featured exhibit of the Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc movie on September 6-7 at One Ayala, Makati City. Fans are invited to “step into the world of devils and hunters, get exclusive previews, and experience the carnage before it hits theaters this September.” The movie is further described:
For the first time, Chainsaw Man slashies his way onto the big screen in an action-packed continuation of the hit anime series. Denji was a Devil Hunter for the yakuza, working to pay off his late father’s debt– until they betrayed and killed him. On the brink of death, Denji merges with his chainsaw devil-dog Pochita and is reborn as Chainsaw Man. Now caught in a deadly way between devils and hunters, Denji meets Reze– a mysterious girl whose secrets may change everything. Love and violence collide in this brutal, emotional arc where survival has no rules.

Chainsaw Man- The Movie: Reze Arc will officially be released in Japan on September 19, 2025. Sony Pictures has acquired worldwide theatrical rights and will screen the film in over 80 countries starting September 24. Meanwhile, the United States and the United Kingdom will open the film on October 29. Studio MAPPA is in charge of the animation, under the direction of Tatsuya Yoshihara.
Chainsaw Man is an ongoing manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Its first arc was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018, followed by its second arc’s serialization in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump app in 2022. An anime series adaptation was also produced by MAPPA in 2022, which consisted of 12 episodes.
