Chillin’ in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army anime released preview images and trailer for episode 2 along with its synopsis. The next episode is scheduled to be broadcast this Saturday (January 14). Encourage Films is animating the adaptation, which has been airing since January 7.
As a new adventurer, Dariel (Tomokazu Sugita) deals with his first quest without any problem, but the only adventurer of the village Gashita (Tetsuya Kakihara) keeps on showing hostility against him for days. In this situation, the village chief Envil (Kenji Hamada) receives news that a monster at an advanced level appears near the village. Dariel heads out to the forest in order to bring Gashita back home.

Encourage Films is animating the Chillin’ in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army anime based on Rokujuyon Okazawa’s light novel series with art by Sage Joh. The series is currently being published under Kodansha’s light novel label, Kodansha Ranobe Books. The light novel released the first volume in August 2019 and the latest, 3rd volume in March 2020. The manga adaptation by Rurekuchie is ongoing in the company’s Monthly Young Magazine and released the newest, 8th volume on November 18, 2022.
