The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody anime adaptation revealed a trailer, key visual, as well as the cast and staff information. The anime begins airing in April 2022.
The trailer features the opening song by Ayaka Ohashi, titled “Be My Friend!!!”:
Studio SILVER LINK and BLADE are animating The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody anime. Although SILVER LINK is well known in the anime community, this will be BLADE’s first major work. In addition, to the trailer a new key visual is also available:
The main cast and character art information is now also available. Toshinari Fukamuchi is voicing Ard (with Rie Takahashi who is voicing the young version). Wakana Maruoka is Ireena, Hina Yomiya is Ginny, Mie Sonozoki is Olivia, while Ayaka Ohashi is voicing Sylphie.

Mirai Minato (Jahy-sama) is directing the anime, with Takayuki Noguchi on character designs. The anime is based on a light novel by Myojin Katou, with Sao Mizuno’s illustrations. The light novel began serialization in 2017 on Shosetsuka ni Naro website. In 2018 Fujimi Shobo started publishing it in their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. It currently has 8 volumes. A manga adaptation with Misuho Kotoba’s art is also ongoing. Yen Press licensed it in English.
