The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody anime revealed a new short PV for the upcoming “Ancient Arc” with Olivia as the narrator. Olivia vel Vine has previously appeared in the anime and is voiced by Mie Sonozaki in the original Japanese version. Kasi Hollowell is voicing her in the English dub.
The “Ancient Arc” will begin on June 1 with episode 9 of the first season.
The anime is currently airing in Japan and streaming on Crunchyroll. The streaming platform describes the plot as:
After accomplishing everything he could as king, the most powerful Demon Lord ever, Varvatos, is now bored. To spice things up a bit, he is reborn in the future as Ard Meteor. Not without first recalibrating his powers to be perfectly average. But there’s no way he could have predicted that everyone in the modern world would be weak as hell, making him totally overpowering once again!

Studios SILVER LINK and BLADE are animating The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody anime. Mirai Minato (Jahy-sama) is directing the anime, with Takayuki Noguchi on character designs. Michiko Yokote is overseeing the series composition, while Takeshi Nakatsuka is composing the music.
The anime is based on a light novel by Myojin Kato, with Sao Mizuno’s illustrations. The light novel began serialization in 2017 on Shosetsuka ni Naro website. In 2018 Fujimi Shobo started publishing it in their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. The literal translation of the original title is The Greatest Demon Lord in the History Is Reincarnated as Villager A. A manga adaptation with Misuho Kotoba’s art is also ongoing. Yen Press licensed it in English.
