The Greatest Demon Lord Reborn as a Typical Nobody anime has revealed a new visual for the upcoming “Ancient” arc. The new visual features Ard’s old demon form, Varvatos, and his best friend, Lydia.
The anime’s official Twitter also announced that the series will enter the new arc on the 9th episode on June 1, 2022. The anime currently has 7 episodes and you can watch the series on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia. Mirai Minato is directing the series at studios Silver Link and Blade.
The anime is based on Myojin Kato’s The Greatest Demon Lord Reborn as a Typical Nobody (Shijo Saikyo no Dai Mao, Murabito E ni Tensei Suru) light novel series. Fujimi Shobo has been publishing it with Sao Mizuno’s illustrations since May 2018, and it currently has 9 volumes in circulation. A manga adaptation by Misuho Kotoba is also being serialized in Monthly Big Gangan magazine, and as of now, it has 6 volumes available.
