TV anime Engage Kiss released a non-credit video of the opening and ending sequences on YouTube after the anime’s 2nd episode aired on July 10 in Japan. halca, the ending theme song performer for Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2, is performing the Engage Kiss OP song, titled “Darekare Scramble“. The song’s CD single release is scheduled for August 17. Nanawoakari, who joined Happy Sugar Life as the opening song singer with “One Room Sugar Life“, is singing “Renai-No” for the ending song of Engage Kiss. The song will release as a CD single on August 24.

Fumiaki Maruto, the creator of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, wrote the script of Engage Kiss, while Date a Live light novel illustrator Tsunako is doing character designs for the work. A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Saekano series, is animating the series under Tomoya Tanaka’s direction.

The official website describes the plot as:
Baylon City, a mega-floating city created by the discovery of new energy resources. A young man named Shu runs a small company there. He is living a hard life because of his daily spending sprees that he has trouble keeping under control. Worried about Shu, a girl named Kisara visits him at his office and home. She attends a high school in Baylon City and takes care of everything from office work to household chores. Another girl, Ayano, a senior employee of Shu’s former company and his ex-lover, also cares for him.
A slapstick love comedy involving three people with slightly unusual relationships on a man-made island in the Pacific Ocean is about to begin! Especially once a nun, who is a part of the world’s largest exorcist organization, infiltrates the city!
