Crunchyroll is streaming the KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World anime outside of Japan, describing the plot as:
As heir to a cult leader, Yukito centers his life around the mysterious goddess Mitama. But everything changes after he’s killed during a ritual gone wrong. To his surprise, Yukito is reborn into a world with no concept of god! And in this world, life and death are decided by the Imperial State. As Yukito fights to protect his new village, someone from his past life lends a helping hand.
The anime adaptation is based on a manga series written by Aoi Akashiro and illustrated by Sonsho Hangetsuban. The manga was first serialized in Hero’s Inc.’s Monthly Hero from May 2019 to October 2020, before being transferred to Comiplex website in November 2020.
The series also has a manga spin-off series titled Kaminaki Sekai no Onee-chan Katsudo, written by Shinya Murata and illustrated by Tokisada Hayami.
